Testimonials

"There's value in networking groups and extreme value in the Catholic Professionals of Greater Philadelphia because members' common denominator is service to the Lord. 'Seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides." Matt 6:33."
--Lorraine Ranalli, Media Personality/Communication Strategist

"I have attended several Catholic Business Professional events and had the privilege of speaking at one of them. The camaraderie of a like-minded group like CPGP is palpable when you enter the room. The speakers always provide interesting material and keen insights into our common goal of bearing witness to our faith in every aspect of our lives – particularly the workplace."
Deacon Alvin Clay III, Consultant at Davidson Trust Company (Division of Bryn Mawr Trust Company)

"I came across CPGP by way of LinkedIn when I first moved into the Philly area not too long ago. I decided to check out one of their FREE dinner events in King of Prussia as an opportunity to meet other Catholic business professionals and broaden my network. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the event when I arrived - a truly welcoming and vibrant atmosphere accompanied by great food, drinks and conversation with new people. It got even better with the keynote talk by a dynamic Catholic speaker who challenged the group to live the faith fearlessly in the world of business that is all too often filled with ethical and moral stumbling blocks. From this one experience I quickly plugged into an authentic community of like-minded Catholics who understand the transforming power of grace in the corporate wilderness. I am thankful I decided to go to the CPGP event as my Catholic network has been enriched because of it, and God has opened up new doors of friendship through some of the people I met at that first event a couple years ago." -- Bill Reagan, St. Joseph Parish, Downingtown, Senior Director, Applications & Project Management

"When I first heard of the Catholic Professionals of Greater Philadelphia my first thoughts were that this was so long overdue. We go through life touching lives, creating relationships and doing business with individuals from all walks of life that often we know very little about. What a bonus that we can come together and impact and connect with individuals with the same ideals, the same values, the same convictions not only about our professional lives but also about our faith. With the many challenges in the economy today, I am always touched by and encouraged that Catholic business men and women of faith can share the same dreams of a better tomorrow. I have enjoyed this group immensely, and truly believe we are making a difference. Thank you for bringing us together.

VALUE: V= vulnerability, A= Authenticity L= Leverage, U= Underpinning beliefs, E=Ethics. This is the value I've received from the Catholic Professionals of Greater Professionals. Knowing that our VALUES are aligned helps me communicate with my Catholic professional peers without having to be "politically correct". We can freely discuss issues in "our" language. What other professional group would also have Adoration before a business/professional meeting?... Instead of leaving a networking meeting stressed, I know I leave rejuvenated and excited about connecting with kindred souls.

"The networking events put on by Catholic Professionals of Philadelphia have proven invaluable to my business. I get to meet and build business networks with like minded individuals in my backyard. I get to hear dynamic speakers and it is all held in a convenient location. Food and drink are provided and there is plenty of time to mingle and talk to individuals in a environment that is conducive to conversation. I highly recommended attendance."

My contact with the Catholic Professionals of Greater Philly was relatively brief. I went to 3 or 4 events over the course of several years. On one occasion, I won a raffle that provided me the services of a resume writer. I also connected (or reconnected) with a few folks that I was acquainted with via other Catholic social circles. The lasting impact on me was the professional connection I made with my financial adviser. Craig Glantz approached me about financial planning. The timing couldn't have been better as I was planning a relocation to Florida at the time. Craig helped me organize my financial situation for my move. Not only do I have a financial planner, I have a friend who shares my values.
